Welcome to READ Lakeland

READ Lakeland is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our more than 100 volunteers have allowed us to offer FREE services to those who want to better their skills. Whether it’s reading, writing or math, our tutors are trained accordingly to provide one-on-one or small group instruction. We are here to help, contact us today!

Our Annual Fundraiser is Needed Now More Than Ever

We postponed our annual Kiss the Pig fundraiser last year due to Covid. During the 2021 ONE WEEK campaign, candidates raise awareness for adult literacy as they collect “votes” from their family, friends, and colleagues. Each vote is $1 and the candidate with the most votes the night of the finale wins the honor of kissing the (virtual) pig!

We’re Going Virtual!
